2. Where's the pic of Obama trying to convince the officials to call the game before it's over?
"Hey, I've got a lead, shouldn't we just end the game now?" Kind of like Bush in Florida in 2000.

5. well, go find one and then you can post it
It's called "google" or something like that....

Hillary can drag this out as long as her ego and vanity dictate. She's still going to lose. Too bad she threw dignity by the wayside.

7. There are no goalposts. Every state gets to vote and when one candidate has locked up
a majority of all the delegates the race is over. And the fact that Obama would make the unprecedented claim that this is not what needs to happen in order for him to win demonstrates that he is the one who believes he is entitled to the nomination.

17. What? Is THIS The New Excuse Now...?
...or did you simply misunderstand what it means to "move the goal posts?"

Early on, Hillary told all who would listen that she would have the nomination wrapped up by Super Tuesday. But then she lost more states and delegates than she won so she tried to "Chuck Cunningham" the whole concept.

Then she set her firewall at the Wisconsin primary. But--oh wait-- she lost there too.

Then she said she'd right the ship and stop the bleeding on March 4 in Ohio and Texas. She won Ohio outright, but lost the delegate fight in Texas. Time to move the goal posts again...

Of late, she's tried to put the onus on Obama to "seal the deal" in Pennsylvania--despite the fact that any sane person knew she figured to win there. And even here, her campaign pretty much admitted that she needed to win big to make up any real ground, or even justify staying in the race. That is until they realized she couldn't "win big." Suddenly, "a win is a win is a win."

THAT'S what we call "moving the goal posts." It's simple, really...

18. LMAO! She never set up a firewall in Wisconsin--she practically conceded the state
Obama campaigned there for 7 straight days while Clinton dropped in for a weekend. He outspent her by 5 to 1. And he disgraced himself by refusing to debate at Marquette University (Barack only debates in states where he trails in the polls). There was never supposed to be a firewall there, that was just Obama spin (lying) which was carried by the media.

20. Stop Laughing. Your Girl's Campaign Actually Said They Had A Chance To Win There.
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 01:55 PM by The_Counsel
The polls tightened in WI for a few days and Hillary went in and campaigned in the hopes of an upset...

...and got her ass beat by 17.

Look it up.

14. Only if he is the football
and we get to kick his ass back to the senate to EARN a better reputation than his very short time there has so far. Or not.

As long as we can do that, I'm happy to give HRC a non-renewal pinkslip, and let her retire with Bill.

Since we're playing, I'm calling for the first string to come back in during sudden death overtime and lead the team to victory.
