In regards to the remarks made by Senator Clinton on 'obliterating' Iran...
and this is directed at those of you who have no problem with the remarks.

Would you have been bothered if these exact words had been said by Bush?

Personally, the comments bother me a LOT.

We were all pissed about 'bomb bomb Iran' from McCain, right? How is that any WORSE than saying 'we will obliterate' them?

I'm not looking for flames, please. I'd just like to understand why those comments are okay with you.

4. Add to that the "umbrella of deterrance" AND this morning she said I quote"
" I would like to go back to the cold-war style of deterrent in dealing with Iran".

Additionally, I have a BIG ASS problem with waging war against Iran IF the attacked another ME country if they were attacked first. She knows nothing of the constitution and you cannot wage war like that even if it is against Israel without congressional approval and NATO.

The republicans will kill her for that one.

5. Oh please, it was last minute pandering for Jewish votes in PA
It was all part of the "Hillary has Balls Tour" in which she depicts herself as the meanest, toughest hombre this side of the Pecos.

7. Can you imagine if that had come out of Obama's mouth?
Why, MSM would have had a virtual shut down of all other news to report it over and over and over and over again. Why is such an outrageous remark getting no attention as said by Clinton?

19. They went after Obama when he said he would strike Pakistan
if he had actionable intelligence on Bin Laden and Musharaff was unable to respond.

The media covered this ad nauseum and Hillary tried to use this against him. They are hypocrites.

17. I can guarantee that every American diplomat alive
looked at that quote and hung their heads in shame.

If diplomacy isn't dead, a Clinton II administration would most certainly see that it would be dead in short order.

20. Poor choice of words. But what she meant is shared by ALL candidates.
The hypothetical wasn't just "would you bomb Iran if you fealt like it." The hypothetical was would there be massive retaliation if Iran NUKED ISRAEL.

If all you have a problem with is the choice of words, I agree they should have been chosen better. But if you actually think Obama would do anything differently than Clinton if Iran actually nuked Israel, you just don't understand international relations.

And Bush is a hawkish PoS...but even he knows not to take it that far.

23. They are not OK with me.
Obama's comments about all options being on the table are not OK with me either. A nuclear option means obliteration whether you say the word or not.

We do not have a peace candidate. I just have to live with that.

It takes a lot for me to put someone on ignore. Typically, it's if someone pisses me off so much that I can't stomach their posts. That's reserved for the nastiest, most arrogant, and rudest posters.
You're not even remotely close to that. :hi:
