What we'll hear from the Clinton Camp for the next two weeks, and how to react... |
|
They've chosen their new goalposts, we've seen them start popping up now. "Obama must win Indiana or he's done!!!".
Let us all keep in mind what a giant load of crap this is and not allow them to reshape the narrative by claiming this over and over and over. I'm confident in Obama's ability to win Indiana, but he does not in any sense of the word need to do so. If the polls start showing Obama up by 10 constantly it'll slide to "Obama must TOTALLY Blow Out Clinton in Indiana or he's done!!!!".
Every time they start reeling one of these off again just run this in your head:
"It's the top of the ninth... team Obama up by 8... oh boy, if they don't score here they're FINISHED!"
Then chuckle, then relax, then deploy sarcasm as appropriate. Try not to get too offended by how much the person spouting this is insulting you by implying you're idiotic enough to believe them... I know it's hard. I struggle with it. But we can do it.

2. Wow setting high expectations for ones political opponent. Never heard of that before. |

:eyes:
Is this everyone's first election?
Even if you've only been paying attention for this elections, both sides have been playing the expectations game to the hilt.

8. There's setting high expectations... |
|
...and then there's treating people like they're complete morons. Saying the clear front runner in a race... who will GUARANTEED still be the front runner after the contest in question, will be finished if he loses it, is treating us like morons. It's insulting.

3. We need to call our superdelegates NOW |
|
I already have. It's time to stop playing any of these games with her and end this thing. She was supposed to have to win Ohio & Texas, and she skated out of that. She was supposed to have to win PA with nearly 60% of the vote, and she didn't. If we would stop moving on with her, then the media would have to face the reality that WE know she lost. They can't let the little people be smarter than they are.
