So let me see if I understand the thinking here
If Iraq were to somehow get a nuclear weapon tomorrow, they would have every right to drop it on the U.S. Is that correct? We invaded their country, killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people, they had no WMD's, no ties to 9/11 and were not a threat to the U.S. Yet we invaded and are occupying their country.
Hillary claimed if Iran attacked Israel we would be within our rights to "obliterate" them with nukes. Using that logic I would have to assume the Hillary supporters who back up her statement would be in support of Iraq obliterating the U.S. if they were somehow able to get a hold of a nuke. Or can you explain how we would be within our rights but Iraq would not.

3. but....they attacked us first, some way or other, at some time or other...
and if they didn't, well..they meant to....and we don't want 3,000 more dead Americans as proof that they COULD...if they had some means or other...

it is a purely defensive action on our part, don't you see?

7. To make the analogy more accurate
She was talking about matching nukes with nukes. And she was talking about us retaliating for an attack against Israel. So, for your analogy to hold, we would have to use nukes in Iraq and then some country sympathetic to Iraq could nuke us.

But, following her logic, it would be OK for some other country to attack the US with conventional weapons to retaliate against our invasion and occupation of Iraq.

9. Our thousands of bombs took out way more Iraqis than a nuclear bomb would.
The bombs we dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed 220,000, half a million people died during this invasion and another half a million during the Clinton administration as a direct result of our bombing of water treatment plants.

But I guess we're splitting hairs.

14. Oh pick fucking nits why don't you. My analogy
is fine, spin all you want, change the names of the weapons, or the principles, the end result is the same.

21. I'm looking for an honest answer.
Too bad I'll never get one. No Democrat in his right mind would support what she said. Yet there were many the other day. I guess they all changed their minds.

10. Hillary has a bush mentality
This war has to end.All the needless killing so we can steal Iraq's oil is just plain murder.Since bush planned this war before 9/11 and so it wasnt about the world trade center.Seems as tho Hillary supports all the killing and torture as does Nancy Pelosi.
Hey Joe email me,I lost your email address when my computer crashed.I have some stuff to send you

Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 08:53 PM by walldude
Really what the fuck are you talking about? I'm asking if you believe Hillary saying we would be justified in nuking Iran should they attack Israel is the correct course of action then how can you deny that Iraq has every right to nuke us or bomb us or invade us.

Where the fuck do you get terrorists being justified from that? Are you saying every person in Iraq is a terrorist? Are you saying Iraq deserved the invasion and occupation?

Hillary supporters think they are still trying to get one. Might be true. Might not. Either way she opened the hypocrisy door, I'm just trying to find someone on that side of the isle to close it.

AIPAC's web site.

Or maybe not. They are so ambiguous about nuclear things.
