1. I agree - leave the gutter to HRC.

Lets face it, neither one is going to be President and Hillary has already lost a lot more than an election.

Hopefully Obam emerges with his integrity intact.

3. I agree with it basically
Sometimes I want him to bang the shit out of her in the same way she treats him. But it wouldn't work for him. She'd be the abused female and he'd be the angry black male. What I do want him to do is go after her on the war and its costs and the economy, including how we got in the fix we are in from decisions made in the 90s. Gloves off on all that.

4. All he has to do is answer some of her attacks, and
he's accused of negativity. I really get pushed reading that they're BOTH negative, when he's trying so !@#$! hard to stay above the mud. The negativity is coming from ONE SIDE. Can't they see that? Or are they trying in a very queer way to be "objective?"

But I wouldn't get bent out of shape if Obama did some kitchen-sinking too.

7. Sen. Obama making Sen. Clinton's character an issue would not help in the GE
His campaign is supposed to be different; I would prefer that he does not get down in the muck with Sen. Clinton. It is time to think bigger picture: he is going to win anyway.

6. He needs to be the nominee and marginalize her. Turn toward McCain,
stop giving her attention and validating what she is doing.

19. Agreed.
Assuming no cheating ensues, Obama is the only candidate who can become the nominee. It will seriously tick off the Clinton camp if he does turn toward McCain and marginalize her, but it's the right thing to do.

10. The problem is the Clinton camp will paint him as soft
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 08:29 PM by wileedog
We saw it today and yesterday with the "chickening out of the debate" talking point here. Doesn't matter there have been 21 debates and 4 head to head debates, Obama was clearly too scared to have a (retardedly redundant and pointless) 5th debate.

If he takes the high road she points out that she is a fighter and he is too 'soft' to fight back against the Republicans. She has already used the "but the Republicans will do it!" excuse for her antics.

If he takes the low road she claims he is too negative and his message of change is a lie.

That is the beauty and disgusting ugliness of Hillary's Kamikaze attack on him. That is why so many people want this pointless bullshit to come to its only viable solution sooner rather than later.

here which is the sign of strength alone. He shouldn't take the bait she is drawing him in for a fight he has to rise above it to survive.

Just by addressing the issues and the voters, and responding with fact to whatever HRC might throw out.
