Hillary can't win the General Election because
* She can't carry the black vote.
* She can't carry the urban vote
* She can't carry voters that make over 100,000
* She can't carry young voters
* She can't carry voters under 40
* She can't carry college educated voters

I mean afterall Clinton supporters said that Obama can't carry the "working class dems" so why wouldn't the above be true about Clinton? Why should we believe that Clinton would carry the black vote if she was the nominee? Would the blacks have an undying loyalty to the candidate convinced super delegates to take the nomination from the first black candidate who had a realistic shot at being president? It is hilarious that Clinton and the media are all over the fact that Obama supposedly won't carry working class dems in the general election but they don't mention it when Hillary gets like 8% of the black vote at times????

She will draw Republican women
as well as Democratic Party women. And a substantial portion of the Democratic base which is NOT the extreme left wing of the Party. She can win.

3. Hill on PA carried "urban/young/under 40/col educated/ " -except in black areas and college towns"
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 08:02 PM by papau
the over 100,000 vote seems to have found their candidate in Obama to be sure -

but I suspect Hillary can win without them

On the other hand without workers/catholics/women over 40/seniors, Obama is another 49 state Mondale waiting to happen

15. IN PA is the key phrase. It is ridiculous for you all to keep
posting about PA when the rest of the country is not like PA. PA is the Clinton dream demographic so of course it will be more favorable towards her.

8. They BOTH can win!
Alone or together, Clinton and Obama are each capable of defeating McCain.

10. Check the map Obama loses
Most of the states Obama has "won" will go to McCain in the double digits. It's clear he can't carry the big DEMOCRATIC states.. I'll give the Obama cult this one out of the four GOP states she won I think she could carry Bill's home state.

11. Because she'll bring out the anti-Hillary vote.
Even the worst die-hard bogots might stay home if they think McCain will lose. Good ole boys do not, I repeat, do not like to vote for a loser. They stay home.

12. She can't manage her own campaign
Come to think of it... what has Hillary ever managed???
This campaign is certainly the largest thing she's ever managed
and in a year she's built up a mountain of debt and turmoil.
What will she do with OUR country?
How Hillary manages her own campaign should be a sobering
example of what we're in for... if god forbid she was ever elected.

16. My dad is a yellow dog democrat
and has been for 50 years. I know for sure that he'll vote for a yellow dog over Hillary in the GE come november. So in the fall, for him, he's voting for Barack or against Hillary.
