A lot of what is being posted is just going round and round in circles. But we know Obama will be the nominee.

I actually suspect Clinton will not withdraw until some time in June, an entire MONTH after that, digging her campaign into even more debt, losing even more respect, creating more animosity and pushing her political goodwill far far far into the red. We're watching political suicide. Slow political suicide.

The only silver lining to her hanging in there through June is that her political career will be in shambles from here on out.

So hang loose. Let Hillary fans create more and more fantasy scenarios, let them pretend McAuliffe saying she's going to raise ten million as meaning she DID raise ten million (LOL) and everything else they spin. It's not going to matter.

2. The only problem with her staying in until June is that it gives McSame
even more of a free ride.

5. Some are just lovely persons. I can't imagine with this attitude why y some expect to sway
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 09:20 PM by saracat
Clinton supporters to their candidate. But I forget. Some feel they don't either need those votes or can take them for granted. That would be a big mistake.

9. It would be the prudent thing to do, all things considered. The vitriol displayed
isn't persuasive.

Clinton supporters about anything?

14. I was addressing the fact that you ought to be persuading them instead of antagonizing them.
But I guess you think you don't "need" them.

I put in my post how I felt. Nothing less, nothing more. You really don't need to tell me what I "ought" to be doing.

8. She's not going to stop. All the poison has to hatch out.
The media will be exposed and lose it's power to tell people what they should be thinking.

Dirty politics will be exposed as shameful and utterly useless.

13. You're right Erin Elizabeth - We should all share what we have done for 13 days
13 days really isn't that long, in he scheme of things. You can do anything for 13 days. I've had three kids - so I was pregnant longer than thirteen days. So, let's make a list of what we have done over a 13 day span of time to show that we can do this! I'll start -

For at least 13 days during Lent, I didn't eat chocolate! We can wait 13 days for Obama to win the nomination.

18. My sister says Indiana is going Obama.
She's got this. LOL Granted she lives in Bloomington, the liberal oasis in a sea of red. University town with educated progressive people. BUT, sis is no push over. She's a true middle of the road, get the government out of my business, independent. Like MOST of Indiana. She has chosen Barack Obama and CAN convince many people. Did I mention she's also a freelance writer and editor at the University?

Not only that, my sis in law, a die hard feminist and AVID Clinton supporter, has changed her support, also in Bloomington. I NEVER thought that would ever happen. I pretty much wrote off talking to my brother and sis in law until after the nomination. Her support of Clinton was equal to my own support of Obama. I haven't talked to her but, my sis tells me that there was a straw that broke that camels back, but, she wasnt sure what it was exactly. Can't wait to find out!

These are all great indicators in the Hoosier state.

That's awesome!

Now we can just hope Hillary's ego doesn't do too much damage to the party.

19. Her political career in shambles?
It already is, IMO. My bet is she has already alienated many party leaders.

Her options are very limited now... she will not be Obama's VP and she will not be Senate majority Leader. She has made herself poison.

21. Thank God.
I don't know that it will genuinely be over on May 6th, though that might well be what sinks her.

I'm pretty certain that if she survives May 6th, she won't long survive May 20th - that's when Obama's going to get that magic 1627th pledged delegate. At that point, it will be over in a hurry.

The Clintons would rather see McCain in the White House than any Democrat that is not Hillary.
