So when are the super delegates stepping in?
to stop the destruction of our party.

Do we have to wait until after May 6 or before then?

4. I don't know why, but every time I see that word "trickle" it makes
me giggle...
probably because one of our "hometown heroes" is named, and I kid you not, Dick Trickle...

3. My guess is shortly after June 3rd...the last primary. The only thing
that would change that would be if there was a SURPRISE Primary, like Hillary winning NC and Ind both, or Barack winning NC IND WVa successivly. If the predictions prove true, they will wait until the last primary is over.

8. What prediction are you referring to? My prediction is that after Obama wins a majority of
the pledged delegates on May 20th, then we will see steady and stronger movement. The voters will put Obama over 2024 in S. Dakota and MT on June 3rd.

It makes the most sense to have the voters put Obama over the top. It gives the supers some cover from claiming "they" chose the nominee, and it gives Obama some extra legitimacy if the voters are the ones who put him over the top.

Sure the Dems across the country are split with a majority favoring Obama. But neither candidate can get to 2024 without the supers.

So the best scenario for the party and for Obama is to have the voters in the last 2 states to vote actually put him over. MT and S. Dakota are both strongly favored to go to Obama. I will be very surprised if the supers wait until after the last states vote and then get the credit for Obama's nomination. It would make reconciliation all that much more difficult.

11. The predictions I was referring to are those being made by
all the polsters and talking heads. So far they said NC is Obama by a large margin, Ind. is a tossup, Oregon will be Obama...Hillary will win WVA, MO, KY. I don't recall the few others remaining, but their predictions indicate even after all the primaries are complete, there will be very little change in the delegate count between now and then.

I've heard too many people say that the super delegates want to wait until THEIR State/District votes, and to me that means we won't see a LOT of declarations from them until June.
