Jenna Bush: I may not support McCain
In Republican circles, this could constitute a form of sacrilege.

Speaking on Larry King Live last night, first daughter Jenna Bush, who appeared alongside first lady Laura Bush, confessed that she's not sure if she'll vote for the presumptive Republican nominee for president, Sen. John McCain, and even left open the possibility that she'd support either Sen. Barack Obama or Sen. Hillary Clinton.

KING: Do you have a favorite between the two, the two Democrats?

LAURA BUSH: My favorite is the Republican.

KING (pointing to Jenna): Yours too, I would imagine.

JENNA BUSH: I don't know.

KING: A-ha! Are you open to...

JENNA BUSH: Yeah, of course. I mean, who isn't open to learning about the candidates and I'm sure that everybody's like that.

This, of course, causes us to wonder one thing: Could Jenna Bush and Patti Davis become fast friends? (Davis, you'll recall, was the liberal daughter of Ronald and Nancy Reagan who became famous for dissenting from her family's politics.)

4. It could just be to sell books
She's a Bush after all. But I give her credit. She does seem to think for herself. A very good thing.

11. Yes, she's entering into a marriage arranged by Rove
so I am guessing her "free thinking" is mostly for show, though I hate to pigeon-hole her just because her parents are vile.

13. You CANNOT believe anything a Bush says. This is obviously a ploy to appeal to
the large group of new, young people who are entering the political dogfights for the first time.

After "due consideration", this brainless twit will strongly (and with live coverage from Faux), announce that she has decided that the puke is actually the best choice.

Do not fall for rethug lies.

16. I'm sure I'll get flamed for this ..
I know we've all talked trash about Jenna, but I saw the piece Diane Swayer did with Jenna and I was actually impressed. She didn't come across as the snotty little brat that I thought she was.

Ironic, Julie Nixon is supporting Obama!

17. Kids do grow up
My step daughter was very spoiled by her mom and my husband and when she first went off to college partying and being thrown tons of bucks by everyone including step dad I was worried she would never grow up.

My girls were raised by me alone who always struggled paycheck to paycheck, so they both got jobs since they were 14 and now in late 20's both are very responsible.

But...2 yrs ago step dad divorced mom and they weren't married long enough for her to get anything so she is hurting financially and we are retired now so my husband can't give out to her like he used to...

So now she and boyfriend live off campus and actually work while going to school for first time and struggle to pay their bills. I think its good for her. and she is finally growing up and treating me nicer. She always saw me before as the one who got dad to give her less hundreds...

Maybe Jenna is growing up and we shouldn't judge her for what her dad does.

24. I'm almost not surprised by all of this
After seeing her travel with limited fanfare to third world countries and after writing her book, I became convinced that she didn't share her father's worldview. I've long suspected that she was a closet liberal, as I still suspect Nancy Reagan is.

21. Whatever happenned to the other Chimplette anyway?
They have been dragging Jenna out in front of the camera a lot lately, but her twin sister, Babs Jr. seems to have vanished into the ether.

Hope they didn't sacrifice her to Molech at that Bohemian Grove orgy thing.

25. Some people prefer a low profile, I guess
Just because she's laying low doesn't mean she's living under a bridge or anything. I imagine she doesn't like the limelight much, just as I suspect Barbara is using the limelight to draw attention to her pet issues and book writing.
