What would happen to the delegate counts if Edwards asked his delegates to vote for Hillary
In a second round of voting, for example? Does that make any difference? And does he have enough delegates to prevent Obama from reaching the magic number without them?

Thanks in advance,

PP

10. Just about the time I was going to back Edwards, he suspended
his run...imo....he, at that time, lost his right to my vote either for himself or someone he wants to endorse....wb

2. Probably not a lot either way
Unless it gets much closer come convention time, I don't believe Edwards really has enough delegates to be a definite kingmaker, unless we get to second and third rounds of voting.

4. She would get 18 more delegates - if they agreed to do it.

5. He only has a very small handful
7 in Iowa. I think a total of 18 overall. Most of his delegates, pledged and SD have already gone to Obama.

6. Thanks everybody. I didn't realize his total was so small
but I guess he was out before Super Tuesday. No problems for Obama on that front, then.

8. 18 delegates isn't going to make any difference at all.
Edwards' potential impact on this election is highly overrated, IMO.

9. It would do nothing.
Edwards supporters aren't in lockstep, and certainly don't want to be seen as puppets.

Anyway, at this point, people want to associate themselves with the winner.
