The new Repuke ads against Obama. Show why they fear him the most in GE |
|
He hasn't even won the nomination. And they are running these ads. Scared shitless. They want to face Hillary. Why on earth would they run ads now if they didn't want to influence the primary in her favor.

1. Hillary is an easy candidate.. Vs McCain all she would get is the old white women vote. |

Her baggage is a 527 groups dream come true.

...and if nothing else indicates that is so, then this does. They want Hillary because they KNOW they can BEAT her. They want Obama OUT of the picture.
Hillary is idiotically being USED by them right now and she doesn't care, obviously. She just wants to win the nom - and then she'll go on to LOSE the election.

3. My theory is that there is some sort of agreement between McCain.... |
|
Clinton and Bush whereby if either of these two candidates become President they will look the other way with respect to all Bush and cronies have done in the past 8 years. Obama is an unknown as far as what he may or may not do regarding the obvious crimes that have been committed by this Admin.

They just know he will be the Nominee and while HRC and BHO are fighting with each-other they are going to start the mud-slinging process.... Let them waste money, the only thing IRT Obama people are watching is what is going to happen...

|
are going far out of there way to make certain that Hillary wins the nomination over Obama! What are they so afraid of?

6. well, let's remember that Barack has some baggage too |
|
I'm supporting him, but I think everybody needs to be ready for the attacks that are sure to come. We're going to hear an endless chorus of Rev. Wright, Rezko, Flag Pin, middle name Hussein...
There Will Be Filth. I hope Barack will have an answer for it.

We didn't do a very good job defending John Kerry against lies when his heroic Vietnam record was turned against him.
How much better will we be when the Republicans start attacking Obama with the truth?

23. well I put that on Kerry too. |
|
I mean, he should have been reacting to that shit. He just let it happen. This may sound weird, but I blame Kerry for the lack of response more than I blame myself. I'll be surprised and disappointed if Obama doesn't do a better job than that.

I'm not sure any defense will work. With Kerry, at least, the truth was on our side.

and I don't know of any.
The thing with Kerry was, he made it seem like real dirt because he didn't answer it.

slum-landlord and fixer Rezko, the nature of which Obama had to revise several times as more information came out, doesn't pass the smell test.
Being a little corrupt is like being a little pregnant.
I fear when Rove and company decide the time is right, Obama is going to get thoroughly vetted, and we may not like what we find out. And we will be able to count upon the corporate mass media shifting into a feeding-frenzy mode.

|
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 09:59 AM by loindelrio
On edit: Other than, the standard 'it comes from my fathers side of the family'.
Now, if he were named Major Major Major, . . .

25. of course you know what his middle name is, that's not my point |
|
it's how he/we counter the filth that will be brought up regarding his middle name.
But your question is valid: how do you answer the crap about his middle name? I don't know.

8. No, it's simply because they know he'll be the nominee and they're |
|
not wasting time in softening him up...because, quite frankly, he hasn't learned to fight back effectively, and they're going while the gettin's good.

14. I hope I said probably...I can't see how Hilary can get the nom, but I |
|
ain't conceding. Nothing Barry has done has showed me he will be a strong GE candidate, so I think Hilary should stay in and hope for a miracle, because if Barry gets the nom, we won't even get that.

17. Same thing I said in the "Rec this thread- If you think it's time for Obama to drop out " |
|
My Quote:
"I am a Hillary support as is very evident by my posts, but any Hillary supporters who think Obama should drop out are truly delusional. I can admit it, as much as I don't like it, he is winning this thing, and unless there is a clear problem, implosion or turning of the tides he will be the nominee.
I do think Hillary should stay in though, we have a few more weeks to let the VAST majority of people vote in a primary and become excited they are ACTUALLY part of the CHOICE process, and while unlikely... she could catapult ahead and become a more viable option."

21. You say effective, I say ineffective...it's all perspective, and I would |
|
point to before and after Penn when he hadn't made headway with the so-called blue collar voters, and didn't make a dent in six weeks and $10 million to spend. Some people react to a fighter...to me, he came across as a whiner.
