PA Ad Spending 2-1,
More Clinton distortions, looks like.

"The big winner in Pennsylvania’s presidential Democratic primary on Tuesday night was television. Sen. Barack Obama was expected to spend nearly $11 million in broadcast ads for the primary, while Sen. Hillary Clinton spent about $5 million. Of the $16 million, nearly $5 million of that was spent in the final week leading up to the primary. Clinton ended up winning the primary, keeping her hopes of becoming the Democratic nominee alive.

Specifically $2.5 million, about 17 percent, of that final week’s advertising was spent on Philadelphia stations, the nation’s fourth-largest market. That number was nearly double to triple the amount spent in Pittsburgh, ranked No. 22 in the nation."

9. So how much deeper in debt is she now?
She was already had $10 million in unpaid bills, plus the $5M of Bill's speech money.

THe campaign will be over by the time the next financial numbers come out, so they may not be put into public. If they do, I bet we'll see a campaign spinning down the toilet financially.

14. They are required to report everything to the FEC
There is no way they can decide not to publicize the campaign's finances.

5. That May FEC report is going to be fascinating.
Who wants to bet that Hillary will be even deeper in debt?

And thanks for calling out the Clinton's BS once again.

12. Count on it
They are at the desperation stage. They badly needed a 20-point win. If they could have found any media outlet willing to give them any more credit, they would have taken it. They only spent $5M because that's all the credit they could get. Pennsylvania TV stations aren't completely stupid. They can see that there are $10,000,000 worth of creditors in front of them.

And if they actually though the Clintons had a prayer at returning to power, they would have gladly given them all the airtime they asked for. Even if the bills went unpaid, they would make it up later with political favors. The fact that they only stepped up to $5M in advertising says a whole lot.

6. They keep saying that Obama spent more money. Yes, he did.
He was able to do that because he had more money to spend. Which means, he has more support. I don't see how it helps the Clinton campaign to constantly remind the SD's of that fact.
