The Clinton Campaign and historical precedents: The Donner Party |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 12:08 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
Both set out on a long journey and tried disastrous shortcuts, ultimately finding themselves trapped with no path forward and no supplies. The Clinton campaigns' cannibalism is metaphoric - driven to desperate means in order to sustain their own feeble selves, they plot to feast on their fellow pioneer Obama while they wait for the thaw and the help that never arrives.
Democrats in general become horrified by the taboo breaking activities of the Clintons. When re-introduced into Democratic circles in later days, the Clintons find themselves often whispered and pointed at and oh so gently shunned.
I am writing a short monograph on the topic.
