What the SPIN is:

* Dem's are spending all the money fighting each other.
* They are bringing out all the negativity themselves.
* Animosity between Hill and Obama supporters is SO bad that they will jump ship and vote for McCain before they would the other.
* The party is being split in two.
* If we take this all the way to the convention then the whole world will watch us try to kill each other and the Democratic party will never recover.

What the Reality is:

* We have money coming out of our ears and we will NOT run out.
* The Hillary/Obama contest is the most interesting thing to happen in American Politics in a long long time. We are getting ten times the airplay than the Republicans and that WILL be the case all the way to the Convention.
* Both Obama and Hillary are not only being vetted, they are being hardened and will both be nearly indestructible by Convention time.
* The Republicans will have nothing left of the 'kitchen sink' by Convention Time.
* The party will NOT split. Once the nominee is chosen, the losing candidate will immediately ask all of their supports to back the other.... and guess what, they will.
* This process and the convention will show how Democracy really works and how the Democratic Party is the carrier of the torch.
* Our convention will be the most heavily viewed convention in History... it will embarrass the Republicans.
* Dem's will NOT switch parties because they are irritated... they just won't!

I can't wait.

1. I hope you're right.
I hope that once all this feuding is over people come together and realize that this election simply is not about Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, but about this country and saving it from another 4 years of Bush policies. I hope that by November everyone really realizes just how devastating a McVey McBush McCain presidency would be.
