How the Corp. Media and the Clintons are ignoring MLK 's Dream at every Turn.
That's the possible title of a piece I will be writing later this evening.

Please help me refine the title of this article, and provide me with food for thought based on what my title suggests.

I have so many thoughts on this, until I want some advise to help me pinpoint the focus to get to the heart of my theme.

Thank you Obama supporters for your suggestions.

2. It does seem a shame that when I bother to turn on MSNBC, they
are busy slicing up Indiana between the White and the Black vote. That is all that I have been told about Indiana from the media to date. I know that it is 84% White.

Is that really what the media wants us to focus on.....and not the content of our candidate's Character.

Meanwhile, when reporting on McCain, the media's focus is about Character 24/7.

3. Surely you must be kidding...
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!"

Barack Obama is being judged by the content of his character, and Obama supporters automatically assume that it's because of his race.

4. Can you elaborate how the Media and the Clintons are actually
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 01:26 PM by FrenchieCat
judging Barack Obama based on the content of his character or the veracity of his policies?

I haven't heard the media discuss character or policies for a while now.

I only hear them talk about the working blue Collar Whites and why they "may" not want to vote for Barack....and how he's having problems with this voting segment...and whether they will vote for him or McCain during the GE.

So I'd like for you to provide examples in how the media is focusing on something other than race, when it comes to the particulars of the upcoming contests.

Thank you.

5. Well...
I'd love to take the time to show you the examples of Obama is being judged by his character, but every time I talk about Obama in a serious manner that isn't a glowing embrace I get called a freeper and told to "enjoy my stay" or whatever, so I'll leave that up to some other loyal democrat who supports Senator Clinton.

8. So in other words, you can take the time to quote a portion of the speech.....
make a statement of your perceived fact about the matter, but then shut down conversation about the actual topic that you bothered to respond to based on what some folks somewhere said?

Why did you bother to respond to begin with?

9. In fact, The media is actually setting the race issue back in this country back 20 years,
and it appears that the Clintons are really grateful for that.
