Has it occured to anyone that the GOP is backing HRC in NC?
Isn't it convenient that they are running this add right before the primary there?

Hmmmm? Fishy no?

2. Just three words: Richard Mellon Scaife
I heard reports that the people behind the Arkansas Project
were cooking some stuff up on Obama ... maybe this is part
of it.

11. And Hillary thinks they are REALLY backing her,
just the same way that the Israeli RW think the Christian Zionists are REALLY backing Israel, when the truth is, in both cases, the "supporters" have their own agendas which are inimical to the object of their support.

5. Glad to see Dean enter the fray there over the ad.
Howard Dean Enters Battle Over North Carolina GOP's Anti-Obama Ad

http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com:80/2008/04/howard_dean_enters_battle_over.php

""This is a test of leadership for John McCain. If he can't pick up the phone and make members of his own party stop airing a television ad he claims to oppose, how can he lead our country through an economic crisis or the war in Iraq?" Dean said in a statement just emailed over by the DNC. "If he is serious, he will get this ad pulled."

7. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are her unofficial spokesmen
At least, they might as well be, as much as they're doing to try to help her out.

8. I really see this as a turning point in Clintons reputation in our party

Wheres the outrage by Clinton and her supporters over having the GOP campaigning for a Democrat?!

This wont set well with the party so long as Clinton doesnt join the chorus of those demouncing these ads, and if she doesnt repudiate them TODAY (at the latest) it will be seen as tacit acceptance by her of GOP help in a Democratic primary.

9. The turning point was when she, in effect, endorsed McCain for President.

Edit to add:

And it's been downhill ever since.

12. Agreed--we definitely need a referee for primary season 2012. Somebody who can award penalties.

16. True
She is the new Lieberman. But worse really. Lieberman, disgusting traitor that he is, at least attacked policies. Clinton just smears shit and drives wedges all through the democratic party to satisfy her own ego.

17. I just posted a response on Mary Lyon's thread (Calimary)
saying I had been thinking this for the last two days. It's just too convenient, isn't it, that McCain has picked up the Hillary gauntlet and his hammering her points home. But that's what friends are for, right?

18. They've Backed Her Since Day 1 of the Primaries
In my post "The Primaries Have Been Rigged (Or am I Just Another "Conspiracy Nut"?)" I expressed the same opinion as you express here. The replies I received were unbelievably hostile. Check it out. It's sad, infuriating, depressing and hilarious.

20. Sure
They have wanted her from day one, and after they got their candidate, they started getting republicans to cross over and vote for her, and they have. They have been attacking Obama and letting Hillary off the hook, and every paid republican who is on TV are doing the same thing! It's obvious, and Hillary is not stupid, she knows what they are doing, and why, she just don't care! She wants to run in 2012 and this plays right into her hands.

....and that they are arm-in-arm lockstep.

FISHY is an understatement. It SMELLS to the moon and back!

WHY?

Hillary can't win the nomination now - so WHAT is the point, do you suppose? It SMELLS of foul play to me! :tinfoilhat:
