Don't be fooled by the McCain mystique
Sure, McCain might be leading both our candidates right now. I'm chalking that up to the image that most Americans have of McCain as a war hero, former POW. That, and the fact that he portrays himself as a "maverick", a moderate. And sure, many conservatives can't stand him. However, just because he's not as far right as these religious nuts doesn't mean that he's not firmly planted on the right.

The more people learn about McCain over the next several months, you'll see his support start to slide away. Just wait until we start exposing him on key issues, such as health care, Iraq, veterans issues, etc. Wait until he's exposed for the hypocrite that he is on issues such as campaign finance. Hell, he's already admitted that he doesn't know much about the economy. With the US already in a recession and getting worse, do you think the American people want a president who is clueless on the economy?

The election is OURS for the taking. Never has there been a more ripe opportunity for us to firmly cement our position in Washington, taking the White House and expanding our control over Congress.
