I've been reading a whole bunch of posts here where
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 05:18 PM by PCIntern
the term "Democrat" is being used as such:

...the Democrat nominee
...the Democrat Party
...the Democrat contenders

We veterans here know what this means/implies.

What's up with this all of a sudden? I know we're not supposed to take anyone to task by accusing them in any way of being a troll or whatever, since it would be a violation of the rules here, but WTF?

I mean WTF, man?

I've been here for years and this is, in my opinion, a flagrant foul.

I've been watching it for a while, and I thought that it would cease, but I was wrong, apparently.

1. Using 'Democrat' in place of 'Democratic' is a diss to our party, IMHO.

The GOP says it all the time - it's intentional and it infuriates me. I wasn't aware people were posting like that here; they need to be told it's not OK.

2. There are a lot of operatives here. Look at their post counts, join dates and their general
inability for reasoned debate.

The name of the plan is the plan of the name, so the same name is tame as the fame would have been if the lame name's was not Valerie Plame!

Got it?

9. By any chance, is this term being used by the same folks who:
1) Think FAUX Noize is better than MSNBC

2) Trash progressive radio hosts while Mush Limpdick praises their candidate.

3) Excuse racists in PA who tell exit pollers they would never vote "for a black man"

4) Think that superdelegates overthrowing the choice of the voters is completely acceptable.

Well.... wouldn't you expect Repukes to act like Repukes? ;)

10. Personally, I love the Brit Hume quotes
and allowances that Chris Wallace is really asking all the right questions, and that AAR is getting out of hand. ...and the phrase, "you gotta admit..."

I've been here for how many years and almost never read that I gotta admit anything. That's not how LWers play the game - not where I'm from at least.

14. Socks, Proxies, Multiple Accounts to get under the wire and make YOU listen to them
Campaign:

To dispirit, confuse, disinform and anger you...

Some of them are old DUers as well, evidentally... so I can see why you're surprised if you're an old hand.

You thought they were just Democrats of divergent beliefs.

Remember that the enemy has unlimited resources... they can pay anyone to say anything.

And they're always watching public exchanges of information. I learned about them while doing research on behalf of Veterans; about Munitions manufacturers, megapharms and the relationship between these corporations and the government; especially between the megapharms and the Veterans Administration.

There are spies everywhere... seriously... no kidding... no paranoia.

The last thing they want is an organized, grass roots in the Democratic Party.

15. Same thing with "The DU" instead of just "DU."
I used to call people on it all the time, like 6 months ago, but it got so frequent that I gave up.
