The Audacity of Hope (for Racism)
Hillary cannot win unless she convinces Super Delegates that Obama is unelectable.

That is what she is trying to do.

Her strategy is to show that Obama cannot win enough of the "white vote" to win the GE.

She may not be a racist, but she sure has the audacity to hope for, and even encourage, racism.

I find it nauseating. Many of us do.

End of message.

2. The audacity of bullshit
Obama can't win because he can't connect with a large segment of the Democratic party, his "lead" in delgates are mostly from states that he will lose to McCain in the fall. Obama can't win because he has no substance to him and once you get pass all those hope and change it's not a heck of lot after that. His supporters pretty much have to lie and whine and that's not pretty, if you don't believe in Obama then you're racist. Obama supporters have pretty much told Clinton supporters we don't need you to win because according to them those new young voters to go along with them despite the fact they may flake out and not show up.

It seems Obama supporters have forgo their stay in reality and stay in their own odd little world where the GOP won't use Rev. Wright, Rezko(sp) and his ties a bomber against him and those 13 Republican states will see the error of their ways and go for Obama.

4. yup, sure.
No substance, blah blah, cult, blah blah.

All his grass roots money and enthusiastic support is a result of his being a kind of slick card shark. That's what we're supposed to believe?

We are all deluded and you see things clearly (despite being willing to overlook every disgusting thing she says and does that you would have vomited at 6 months ago of Bush did it).

5. I decided today that I will not vote for her in the GE.
I live in Massachusetts and it won't make a difference in the GE, so I have some latitude here as opposed to those who live in a state on the edge.

I will not give her my vote and tacitly approve her Republican-Lite campaign. I will write in Obama. Then I will pick up my pitchfork and torch and get my ass to D.C. with the rest of us.

We need to do it soon, because we are in deeeeep shit and Billary are the kind of insider "game-playing", go along to get along, suck-up politicians that we do not need.

19. Well, we did do it before Iraq -
but the media, when they covered it at all, reduced the turnout by 90% so that gatherings of 15,000 were called a 'couple thousand' and a hundred thousand were a 'few' thousand.

If nothing burns they can get away with saying nothing happened.

I live in Philly and have decided that I won't be voting for her if she succeeds with this "electability" *wink wink* argument.

And it looks like I'm not the only one here who feels that way.

No Democrat can win PA without strong African American turnout in Philly.

10. What if it is true?
What if Obama cannot win enough white votes to win the general election? Have you ever considered that possibility? Are some of you that naive?

Some white voters are not convinced about his candidacy. With 8 years of experience as VP behind Hillary, he would win the nomination in 2016 with support from these White Democrats. You don't know what they are looking for. Perhaps they are looking for a candidate with more experience.

12. If it is true, I don't want to live in this country anymore.
If Hillary Clinton is what it takes for a "Dem" to get to the WH, I say fuck it. It's not worth it. If it's true, being a Dem doesn't mean what I want it to mean, what it should mean, what it needs to mean.

But anyway, I don't believe it. I believe we can do it and we will do it.

If he carry her water for 8 years he becomes just another Washington insider. Besides being a VP for the Clintons do not guarantee you will win the Presidency, ask Al Gore the Clintons are toxic.

48. You do realize that 5 of the last 7 Democratic nominess did not "win enough white votes to win the
general election?"

Of course, they were all white men, so I guess that doesn't matter.

Interesting that we have NEVER had a guarantee that a Democratic nominee would win the general election. And many of them didn't. And they didn't win because they did not get enough white votes (since black voters voted overwhelmingly for these white men, you can't blame THEM). Yet I never, not once, ever heard people wringing their hands, assessing electability by trying to guess which white white presidential candidate was most likely to get the most white votes.

So, why all of a sudden, now that there's a black man in the race, are you and others SO concerned about possibly losing the general election because he couldn't "win enough white votes."

I call bullshit on this entire argument.

I call bullshit because I see right through it. And I see that this argument is about a fear that Obama won't get enough white votes to win the election. This is about a fear - in fact, outright terror - that Obama WILL get enough white votes and we will have a black president. That scares some people to death.

The fear is palpable. And it's pathetic.

Why DOESN'T the media ask Clinton about her "electibility" in regard to the Black vote? Default norm = White.

Why isn't someone asking Clinton how she will win over Black voters if she becomes the nominee? It's a perfectly valid question.

It's one of those spineless "I have no dog in this race, but I'll only attack one side" fools that don't have the intestinal fortitude to stop hiding behind a long-since-out-of-it candidate.

Pretty spineless, seeing as one never has to defend a candidate and can simply snipe at will.
