David Wilhelm just cleaned Terry McAuliffe's clock on Larry King Live....

...in my view.

Terry answered every question of Larry's with "let's have a debate! let's have a debate!"

David just calmly said... "Calling for debates after we've already had 21 is ludicrus. This is what losing campaigns, especially losing campaigns who are out of money, do. They need oxygen. Obama doesn't have the obligation to provide oxygen to Hillary's losing campaign. If Hillary was ahead, we would be calling for debates and she would be saying 'no more debates'."

He calmly laid it out there... and Terry really didn't have an answer for it... other than "let's debate! let's debate!"

11. You may want to pay attention. Obama agreed to an april debate. Hillary declined.
Now that she didn't get a landslide in PA, she wants to debate. Obvious.

Get your facts straight please before posting.

26. papau, we don't want her in NC. Obama outraising her 3 to 1 here
and he has Edwards General Campaign manager endorsing him, working to get him elected,
a ton of mayors, lawmakers.

Hillary isn't well liked here, and her race baiting pisses off the liberals.

NC is becoming more and more progressive each year.

29. Trouble with facts? She declined the April 19th debate he agreed to
I really hate quoting fox, but since you HillFans love it these days - I'm sure you'll be able to stomach it.

And it could be their last debate for a while. Obama’s campaign confirmed that it has not committed to an April 27 CBS debate in North Carolina. The campaign would not specify why it is waiting to accept or decline, saying only that Obama accepted an earlier debate for April 19, but that Clinton turned it down.

Just reality. There is no reason to debate anymore, the race is over.

Bring on McCain.

9. Terry is an idiots idiot
but Barack should debate some more. His debate staffers should put their foot down and not allow the nonsense that ABC did. He should step up, practice, and deliver some well thought out answers to legitimate questions.

Very few people can nix Terry McAuliffe. Yes, I hope there's a re-airing of this segment.

In fairness to Terry M., if I had a shoddy used car to UNLOAD, I'd want him to sell it for me. ;)

Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 09:14 PM by Bensthename
Obama has the power right now. Deal with it Hillary.
He is not going to give you another chance to bring up McCain's experience over Obama's or say he has some "questionable ties".. If you would debate real American issues maybe he would grace you with his presence.
Right now all you are is a waste of his time.

National Enquirer-----have you seen the front page scream! I just saw it at the checkout line---didn't pick it up or open it, but it was about Obama and the mrs., fighting over 'girlfriends', separating - whatever---typical Enquirer stuff.

just waiting to see if anyone here will admit they saw it or read it?

31. Terry McCauliffe is a moron!
I blame him for the debacles of '00, '02, and '04. Under his leadership, we never saw a close race we couldn't lose. Dean has done a much better job running the DNC.
