Rev. Wright vs. Rev. Hagee
Here is why McCain's relationship with Hagee is far worse than Obama's relationship with Wright (even if you think Wright is a nutball, which I don't):

We ALL have people in our PERSONAL lives who would he hard to explain in a presidential campaign -- you know, people who say stupid things or go off on weird rants. But we get used to them and kind of ignore that stuff after a while. That's how I figure Obama is with Rev. Wright. he likes the guy and just looks past his ranting about the government, AIDS, etc.

NOW, think about McCain and Hagee.

Hagee is a guy McCain sought out for a POLITICAL endorsement. This isn't some weird pal McCain knows from his Navy days. This isn't an old college friend or even a pastor he's gotten to know on a personal level. Hagee is a POLITICAL ALLY of McCain.

That, to me, is far more troubling than the fact that Obama has a personal-life relationship with a guy like Wright.

3. Hagee is worse...
Because it would be easy for mcCain to dump him, since he is not his pastor and has not baptized his children, as far as we know? He keeps hanging on to him like a bad penny. He is a religious political ally that McCain thinks can help him with the evangelical vote. This is a worse relationship than Obama's with the Reverend.

7. Plus with Wright...
... while he clearly goes off on political rants from time to time, that has not been the focus of his ministry. But Hagee is a TV preacher who talks politics all the time. And the politics he talks are despicable.

6. Don't forget Parsley and Falwell. McCain kissed their rings also.
