Sorry, but recommending a thread should be something that posters do because they agree with what's said not because they've been asked to do it. Good threads never make it to the front page because of this kind of thing.

DU was supposed to have an anti-rec function by now. What happened to that?

2. what should ask is why do people rec threads when someone requests it.

i rec threads when i love it or i think it's important enough and i know it would die but most of the times i forget we have the "rec" function.
