I think we should have a debate with hillary, Obama, and McCain in it
That way we can see who is the strongest candidate to go up against McCain in the fall..

1. ...
then Hillary and McCain could tag-team Obama. It's a horrible idea when there are 2 people running against each other for the right to run against one...

The only thing is, then it would become crystal clear what Clinton has been doing...
to Obama and it would be out there for all to see.

2. It think it would be instructive for voters to have McCain in a debate with
a high school senior on the debate team.

My money's on the kid versus McCrazy.

3. I think Hilary would come out on top since she's the stronger debater...
...however, but she and BO would do well, and, if nothing else, would put to rest the hand-wringing of so many Dems when they see either against McLame and see just how bad he is and how easy he can be beaten.

5. Interesting Idea.
A debate between a Republican, a Democrat and a Clintonite.

7. No way. Clinton has already shown that she will side with mccain against Obama
when she said she and mccain were qualified to be president, but Obama isn't.

There is no doubt in my mind that it would be two against one, Obama against clinton and mccain, and that is bullshit

Let our nominee be choosen first then the debates against mccain begins

9. I don't think she would publicly take sides with McCain.. She would join forces with Obama
and make people realize that both Hillary and Obama are better than McCain.. It would bring dems together..

14. I disagree. She already went public in ads stating her position that she and mccain
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 09:52 AM by still_one
were qualified to be president, and Obama wasn't

If she would have left out mccain in that assertion, I would agree with you, but I have no trust in what she says

though with great reluctance, I would vote for her if she is our nominee in the general election

12. The only debating and the only campaigning from this point
is Obama versus McCain.

Hillary had 21 chances to make her case in debates with Obama, and lost. Surely that is enough debates for the primary season. On to the real thing.

8. I'll go one step further
Why not let them all run in the General. Sen. Clinton is determined to stay in this race until the bitter end. I wouldn't be surprised to see her repeat what Lieberman did in 2006-- leave the party and run as an independent.

10. If you're going to have Clinton, might as well have Huckabee and Romney and every other loser
she's insignificant at this point

11. She hasn't lost yet..
I like it that hillary is a fighter.. It makes me trust that she can change things for the better.. Obama hasn't shown that in the slightest.

13. Neither have Romney and Huckabee
They don't officially lose until the convention. Same as Hillary.

The only difference is that they have enough honor, self respect, and concern for the party to do the right thing.

15. You're right
She could still win all of the remaining contests by more than a 2:1 margin over Obama, only around 70% of the vote.
