Poll question: POLL: Have you switched your support of one of our candidates? |
|
I know several on DU have moved their support from Clinton to Obama, but I'd like to know if any have done the opposite. I believe the results will be telling.

2. actually, I love them both |
|
and would vote for either one. Main thing is to beat the Republicans. 4 more years of Republican rule; endless war, no health care, well you all know by now what it would be like.
The combo of the two would ensure that we win, heal the divisions in our party.

I still like Obama, but I believe he is unelectable.

5. Where's the option for those of us who haven't switched? |
|
Isn't what that would tell you as important/interesting as counting those who have switched?

6. There have been lots of Clinton/Obama straw polls, but I wanted to see |
|
what direction the migration, if any, is taking, and also to hear reasons from people who switched to Clinton. I imagine that most people switching to Obama are either tired of Clinton's nasty campaign or are starting to better understand the need for a fundamental change in how the whole system works, but why would anyone go the other way? There is so far one response about electability (which I personally think is a bogus issue.)

7. I voted Obama in the Virginia Primary, |
|
and up until the past couple of weeks I've supported him wholeheartedly. What changed my mind was the bitter comment. While I agree with everything Obama said, I believe it is just something else the repuke machine will use in the fall. Combine that nugget with Reverend Wright (whose words I also agree with), the flag pin, the hand over the heart while singing the National Anthem business, Michelle Obama saying she's just now proud to be an American (who can blame her?), and I think we have potential disaster. Before it's all over, McBush and Co. will have Obama looking only slightly less scary than Osama. I wish and hope I'm wrong, but right now Hillary seems more electable.
