It will be an honor to help some democrat take her seat.

And no, I will not donate to her GOP opponent!

13. No it is not. You just don't like the message. People have the right to support other dems in
in the NY primary. If Hillary has a challenger, I will happily donate to his/her campaign.

Just because you don't like something, does not make it "flamebait".

6. spitefullness aside, this might be a strategically sound plan
Once she has made herself unelectable for ANY office, which seems to be her eventual outcome, it might behoove us to back a progressive candidate in her district, or else it will fall to a republican.

unfortunately, not enough others did. what will happen now that clinton is seen as beatable is that other "moderates" will step in and block progressives once again. you can take that to the bank. clinton has only ever been any good in comparison to d'amato, and that ain't sayin' much.

Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.

42.  Well then I guess it is too bad, Erin, that all this talk is nonsense. She isn't going to be
defeated. If there is an opponent--and there was last time--then it won't even be close. She will have an enormous campaign war chest, while most Obama supporters won't bother with some Senate race in NY. You might, but most won't. And NY Dems will continue to like Hillary--most already do.

In the mean time, I am not conceding this presidential race yet. When Barack is nominated at the convention he becomes the nominee, and not a day sooner. At that point I will consider casting the most unhappy vote of my life. You might want to consider the need for party unity before threatenting vengeance against a woman who so many of us love. We don't have to vote for Barack.

I'm just a regular person living in Texas who happens to have voted for Obama in the primaries. Who you vote for or don't vote for in the GE is your business.

In other words, I'm not falling for your "oh you need to be nice to me and Hillary so I'll be nice enough to vote for Obama in November" game. It's just a little manipulation game and I don't play it.

very shortly, may decide she no longer wishes to be a U.S. Senator.

If she decides to try to keep her job, I am likely from afar to follow your lead and donate to her Democratic primary opponent, provided it is not some right-wing betraying weasel turd like Zell Miller.

57. She has never had a solid challenger to the NY seat.
Her wins have come very easy. If she runs against a Coumo or a Kennedy, she could be toast. She might even have some trouble running against Suozzi (although I'd prefer to have him in state gov't). I could even see her having a challenge from Bloomberg, who although technically a Republican was previously a Dem. I am sure there are other worthy candidates in NY that could challenge her. Plus the state party totally sucked up to the Clintons same way they made Spitzer the "inevitable". I hope we can get some new progressive blood into NY but NY politics is crooked as a summer day is hot and the machine does what it will despite the people.
