VOTER REGISTRATION REDRAWS PARTY LINES.

"Since Jan. 2, Oregon has 69,955 new Democrats, including 23,063 formerly nonaffiliated voters and 14,031 former Republicans."

"Oregon Democrats, who began the year with about 70,000 more registered voters than Republicans, have doubled that advantage, which stood Friday at 826,984 Democrats to 685,344 Republicans."

The article goes on to say that this trend is going on across the state, not merely formerly Democratic areas.

Whatever else one can say about this endless primary, it has had the effect of turning Oregon solidly Democratic. Of course, eight years of Republican incompetence and malfeasance didn't hurt!

"operation chaos" is in play here, and I do know of Republicans re-registering (temporarily) as Dems to vote for Hillary in the Primary.

No idea, though, of what percentage of newly registered Dems this represents.

I find it hard to believe 100% of those are just to cast a disruptive vote. My parents finally changed from Republican in 2004 to participate in the Democratic caucus, even though they had voted for Democrats since Dukakis.

If that number is true I suspect if she were the nominee not a single one of those Republicans will vote for her in the General Election.

It's ALL LIES, people. The real numbers, as this article shows, says the GOP is in for a historical drubbing of unparalleled proportions come November. Except we'll never see the "real numbers" because the GOP owns the media and would never let such info be revealed to the unwashed masses.

9. I turned in my card yesterday at the courthouse, saw a friend there.

He was also registering Democratic. We had both been Independents.

The county clerk said that there were just as many registering Repub as Dem, and that basically the county is more red than blue. I'm in a rural county, so that's no surprise. I'm seeing quite a few Ron Paul yard signs around here, and two for Obama sprang up yesterday.
