Fox News at its best: Campaign hookups

While flipping between the NBA playoffs and the NFL Draft, I decided to venture over to see what was going on in the right-wing world of Fixed News, America's Election Headquarters (lol). They had a pretty lady interviewing another pretty lady talking about campaign hookups. Yes, that's right, an important issue indeed, discussing the potential for crossover hookups between the Clinton and Obama camps. After all, they travel to the same states, right? An entire segment devoted to this. Great job educating the American people.

On another note, I genuinely feel sorry for the people living completely in the world of Fox News.

2. I fucking HATE that word: "hookups."

I've ranted about it before. I still can't put my finger on it. I think it's the deliberate evasiveness of it- it's coy. And it's too frat-like. Fratty?

It's coy, but if a person is going to be coy, why are they talking about it? Are people who use that word trying to get other people to wonder exactly what went on?

If you're going to talk about fucking, talk about fucking. Otherwise keep it to yourself (which is what people usually do).
