Instead of attacking each other, Clinton and Obama should attack McCain |
|
I'd love to hear each candidate make a case as to why one or the other is the best to take on Grampa McCain in the general election.
Then we could decide.
Yeah, I know it's a fantasy.
I can dream, can't I?
Alas, we get their respective supporters beating each other up.
THE DECISION must be made, and soon.

Both campaigns should tell voters how/why they should defeat Grampa McCain.
Exactly my point.

Attack the other party instead of the other person in your own party--what a concept!
Most of my friends are Democrats, and they are turned off by the constant bickering between the two camps. I'd say that almost all of them are taking the attitude that they'll vote AGAINST McCain instead of enthusiastically FOR either of the two Dems.
The candidates should declare a truce and agree to 1) attack only McCain and 2) speak of their own accomplishments and platforms in positive terms instead of bashing each other.
And their shills on this board should do likewise.
(Steve, I was about to post exactly what you did, but you beat me to it.) :hi:

6. Obama's willing to do this. |
|
His speech after PA was an attack on McCain's policies. He congratulated Hillary on a good race, and even when a few people began to boo her he said, "no she ran a good race..." Then the rest of his speech was an attack on McCain's economic and foreign policy.

7. This post deserves more recognition and recommendations |
|
But I suppose the shills on either side find it more fun to bash one another.

10. Pefect idea in 2 months. When all the delegates are awarded and the SDs have made their |
|
tentative choice we can all hold our fire and focus on McCain for two months, while the candidates advance their own standing.
My guess is that if Barack will demand she drop out if he's ahead and scream that he's been robbed if he's behind.
