Poll question: Show Of Hands. Do you want to end the pissing contest or do you want McCain-Huckabee '08? |
|
Two choices, no "OTHER." You want a Democratic President in 2008 or you want McCain-Huckabee. Watch this video and see how much satisfaction you take over being "right" about Hillary or Obama: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/24326637#24326637

1. We have a nominee, and his name is Barack Obama. He will be President |
|
Those are the facts. The Hillbots will have to work through their denial. It is time for us to take on Grandpa McLoon.
That's my answer. It's the only acceptable answer to this poll.

4. Strange facts you're using |
|
But that's right in line with Senator Obama being afraid here in the 4th quarter of the game and the crowd praying for the clock to run out. You just keep on telling us all how he's "the" nominee. You might be right, you might be wrong. But he ain't yet.

7. Well, those are the facts in your little world. I want the winner to be chosen after |
|
everyone votes, and the party to get behind that winner because the win was EARNED. Not because a bunch of crybabies tried to whine the opponent away.
I support Clinton. I will vote for the nominee.

2. The contest can go on until all primaries/caucuses are completed |
|
That's a short five weeks. Meanwhile, regardless of the latest MSM meme, we are party building at an unprecedented rate. McCain will not win the presidency. There is just no historical example of a party continuing in power with such record low approval ratings.
Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride. It's only April. The election is in November. "A week is a lifetime in politics".

...and they DO NOT LIKE Huckabee. They see him as a liar, a scam artist, something other than what he pretends to be.
But I do feel that the longer we continue the Great Hillary Obama Pissing Contest, the greater the chance that the voting public is going to get worn out.
I listen to Bob Weir and Phil Lesh talk about how Obama is the "first candidate since JFK an Bobby Kennedy etc etc etc,"
and then I see the daily dick-measuring contest between Obama and Hillary. That's when I feel like Phil and Bob should take the JFK talk and shove it up their mutual asses.
I know I'm sick of it, and I'm sure many others are too. I believe the worst possible thing that could happen to our country would be to elect McCain-Huckabee.
SO...to paraphrase Sean Connery in "The Untouchables"...what are we prepared to DO about it?

8. Other, lol. The world is not 2 dimensional. |
|
I want a Democratic nominee, and a Democratic president, that is neither Obama nor HRC.
I'll work for that until it's no longer a possibility.

9. Is the party so weak it can no longer handle a contested primary? |
|
This is politics, not for the faint of heart
