7. I think they only count the 'provisional' if there is a tie...
That's why my daughter came home from college to vote;
why vote a provisional if its only counted due to tie?

13. From the PA website
It looks like one district in Philly. The provisional ballots page says they tell you within three days after the election if they counted it. http://www.phillyelection.com/provbal.htm

In other words, what's the hold up already?

Also, Booooo! on Philadelphia for requiring a password to see the district level results. Nice site, Hitler!

17. New Mexico took forever too...
I think it's those 'vapor' votes, and 'phantom' votes that are problematic. A little adjustment and everything is okey-dokey.

20. I remember one election here in Chicago.

Sitting in the bar watching the returns come in. When a graphic pops up saying we have only one precinct not yet reporting in within our congressional district, the guy in a Green Bay Packer's jacket drinking next to me for a couple hours pulls the official precinct results out of his pocket and says, "guess I'd better get these turned in."

Needless to say, I was appalled. A Packer's fan? In Chicago? That goes against the very laws of nature.

22. Honestly, what we're probably looking at here are broken machines...
Those votes are likely lost.

Sad, but true.
