Never seen it put that way before....."us Blacks".
Kinda of takes credibility in what you are asking....because "us Blacks" don't really write like that.

And they are surely the base of the party, whether black or not.

11. really/ you have the data supporting your claim that librarians |
|
college graduates, college students and gov't employees voted for Kerry in percentages equal to how the AA community voted? FAIL. MASSIVELY. Blacks voted 88% for Kerry. I don't know how librarians voted but I know that college grads did not go for kerry in those numbers and neither did young people. pullling shit out of... thin air just doesn't cut it, CroPro.

I know you don't mean the Clintons because under-the-bus throwing was self inflicted.

So because AA voters didn't vote for queen hilly they threw her under the bus? And grab a fuckin' clue, genius, Billy was not the first black president just because Toni Morrison said so.

13. So now you're disputing that Bill was known as |
|
the first black President? You are so defensive of Obama and hating the Clinton's it's incredible. They even asked Obama the question in a debate. Get a clue.

16. I don't hate them. I don't think hilly's a repuke. |
|
I don't think Bill was a bad president. I think they've run a piss poor campaign with an attendent lack of dignity and taken the low road on too many occasions. And no, I'm not defensive about Obama. I just don't like bullshit like your crap about how black voters have thrown the Clintons under the bus simply because they aren't supporting him. Clearly the nonsense about Bill being the first black president is ridiculous. Morrison has said it was said more in a light hearted joking manner than anything else. She's supporting Obama by the way. And you have no hope for grabbing a clue whatsoever, darlin'. The question was a joke. .

6. Here's one: the over-50, male, white, NPR-listeners in academe. |
|
I'm serious.
We're not a huge voting bloc, but we do carry some influence. My Bob Marley poster and ANC flag in my office are the first clues to my students where I stand. Teaching my students how to think and analyze seals the deal. I don't even have to mention Obama's name: it's automatic.

Labor? They might deliver 65%.
Women? A little over half.
GLBT? A sizable minority are Republicans.
Hispanics? Two thirds on a good day.
Blacks are the most loyal voters in our party, far and away.

Or unloyal. I am unloyal, I guess, to my conservative repulican parents. I am a 33 white male, middle class that loves the democratic values and it's positive messge to people of the US and world. And I have many friends just like me.

is simply trying to diminish the importance of African Americans to the democratic party. It won't work, but that doesn't mean they aren't trying.
