Allowing SD from MI + FL to vote is simply insane (and I live in MI)
These are the people who supported breaking the rules to begin with.

I can understand the argument that the pledged delegates should be seated with 1/2 a vote each. I don't agree with it but I do at least understand the argument.

I just don't see the rationalization for allowing super delegates to be seated (in any meaningful way) after all the trouble they have caused.

1. It's for political reasons
Federally elected Democratic officials and governors have a lot of political pull.

Thus they will be seated with a full vote each.

Michigan will probably end up being split 50-50. Florida may be as well.

2. Wonder if the situation were reversed and Obama was in the position that Hillary is in now.
I bet all those race cards would be thrown on the table by now. And Sharpton and all the rest would be out there screaming and demanding that MI and FL be seated because those rules were designed just to keep certain people from winning the nomination.

8. The real question is if the situation were reversed what would
Hillary be saying? Wouldn't she be saying Obama agreed to the rules from the first, and he shouldn't be trying to bend the rules because he won?

Get serious.

4. Obama would have been forced out by now if he was behind in Pledged delegates, states won, money
raised and every reasonable popular vote count

Think what would be said if Hillary had taken her name off the Michigan ballot to help preserve the system and Barack didn't

OMG.. think of the things that would be said about him trying to count the votes now

6. When the FACTS aren't on your side, just resort to speculation and conjecture.
:eyes: It sure gets deep here.

11. If the roles were reversed
Obama would have had to drop out in February after losing 12 in a row.

7. Well in Florida I believe it was a Republican legislature
that moved up the primary for what that's worth.

9. All the dems voted for it. They didn't fight it. You should see the video Madfloridian posted
I can't find the link right now but OMG...

It was of the state legislature and the leading dem saying he had to put a protest on the record even though he and the other dems wanted the vote moved up

Then they all had a good laugh

I will try to find the link. It wasn't a Youtube

12. The bill that moved the primary
was introduced by a Democrat.

The legislature had a single vote against the bill.

The Democrats wanted it more than the Republicans and convinced the Republicans to go along with it.

14. I'm from Michigan, and I agree with you.
Rewelz is rewelz.

All of the candidates (and the states) knew the procedures long before the primaries started. I'm pissed off at our state party for disenfranchising us. But I don't think our delegates should be counted.
