Again, Obama shows how PRESIDENTIAL he is and what a great President he will make!
Edited on Sat Apr-26-08 09:54 PM by AZBlue
“How do we get rid of that huge divisiveness in this country?,” a voter asked Obama in Anderson, Indiana.

“The president sets the tone,” the Illinois senator said before explaining the bipartisan approach he’d take if elected to the White House.

“But, I’m also going to try to show this during the course of the campaign,” he added. “Sometimes you take some hits. Even during this campaign, I’ve been taking some hits.”

“One of the things that I learned in the school yard was: the folks that are talking tough all the time, they’re not always that tough. If you’re really tough, you’re not always looking to try to start a fight. If you’re really tough, sometimes you just walk away. If you’re really tough, you just save it for when you really need it,” Obama said.

“I’m not interested in fighting people just for the sake of scoring political points.” “If I’m going to fight somebody it’s going to be fighting over the American people and what they need.”

I want a President who is mature and sophisticated, not a childish bully like Clinton. Thankfully, that's exactly what we'll get in President Obama. I can't wait!

4. It's like a breath of fresh air.
Seriously.

And how very appropriate to compare Washington to a school yard. Although when the Clintons are in the WH it becomes much more like a prison yard, where gang mentality and violence are the name of the game.

48. Washington has seemed like a school yard for the past 7 years.
We - no, they - have taken on the role of being the world's bully. "You're either with us or against us".."So what if the majority of Americans want an end to this war..."

Obama is the only candidate still standing who seems to want to end this trend. He wants to have dialogs with our enemies - what a novel idea. hillary, on the other hand, is threatening obliteration.

Go Obama!!

All the bullies that I knew in grade school that talked tough ended up abusing their spouses and/or kids (that's true, every single one of them), but those that spent their school years dealing with the bullies' taunts, ended up successful... doctors, scientists, inventors, artists, activists...

I've really about had it with the deaf dumb and blind that infest this place from the HRC camp. You can't have an intelligent discussion about issues with them without resorting to a gotcha game, just like the one they worship because she is a female..and you know, we women have to stick together no matter what! Even if the woman would be the worst of our two remaining candidates and has shown herself to lack a moral compass...and one who shows other women that you don't need to accomplish goals on merit and excellence as long as you can bully your way into a position.

Just go away...really.

he ever allow the racial divisiness his camppaign launched against Hillary and Bill Clinton? Hey, why didn't he fire Jesse jackson Jr.'s ass when he played the racial card against Hillary. The fact is that obama can give a good speech, but that is all he has done. He doesn't live up to his own words. They are empty bullshit.
