Obama is simply suffering the same fate that so many candidates have before him; |
|
the more you get to know him the more you liked him better when you didn't know him so well. You start noticing the warts. It really has little to do with his race, either half.

Which is why YOUR candidate is now a trite afterthought in the Presidential race. One that doesn't even rate a debate and who, if it wasn't for her husbands' fame and coattails wouldn't even have a Senate seat.

It shows that in light of new facts that does not support her good character, judgment, etc. some people still follow her blindly. I do not want that indeed. But I also know that there's no convincing someone who does not wish to be convinced. Another thing I do not want is your condescencion. Thanks though. :)
My mother liked Bill Clinton, and never liked Hillary. I used to defend her to my mother. I don't anymore because she was right.

|
his superior qualities for the job by the manner in which he is running his campaign.
That's a fact. And that's what's carrying him through.
The more they kick him, he better he looks. He is demonstratinn leadership, integrity, fiscal responsibility, economic know how, everything by running a campaign against the most powerful interests in America.
And he does it without threatening anybody. Something new in american politics.

He lost by 9 points where she started with a 25 point advantage. Sure, he spent a lot of money, which forced HER to spend a lot of money she couldn't afford so that she could hang in there in a state she should have won walking away. As a result, she's got nothing going into 5/6, and he's going to take both NC AND IN, and that's all she wrote. Stick a fork in her, she's done.
Sounds like pretty sound strategic thinking, to me.

Obama's numbers have held steady throughout the shit-storm Billary has been stirring up.
Believe me, the only people "suffering" as a result of increased exposure are the Clinton, as they dive daily deeper into this mire of their own making.
People are getting their eyes opened to see the "true" Clintons to be corporatist slime-machine lackeys willing to sacrifice their party for their own WH ambitions.

If he can't win the primaries in states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Michigan, California, or New York, than the risk that he'd lose in those must-win states to John McCain is too great. The Democrats have really painted themselves into a corner with this one.

is 'getting to know him'. If people depend on the media to do their thinking for them, I believe you are right. Fortunately, more people are waking up every day to what the media is pimping. I think those that watch Fox, do have a problem with "both his races", and everything that brings to mind for them. God, I love the internets..except for the echo chamber.

43. mainstream media keeps eliminating populists |
|
The trend is now obvious in the corporate owned media. One by one they have been giving terrible publicity to the most populist candidates. First they prevented Kucinich and Gravel from being ib debates, then they refused to even mention John Edwards NAME even when he came in second in Iowa. Now they will try to crucify Obama. After that it will be Clinton, because John McCain is their new errand boy. He will continue their bidding as Bush did. It seems we really have a shadow government who owns our media. I wonder what the Founders of our Constitution would have thought of our media being owned by corporations? They would have started a WAR HERE before they had allowed such a thing. I think they would have had contempt for how docile Americans and the Congress have been.

Obama gains ground in these states where there's a long leadup before the primary. Hillary loses ground.
That he does so well despite Hillary's kitchen sink, negative campaigning - while try to stay positive is exactly why he's winning right now.
Face it. Hillary is in it right now for the enormous number of old women who want ANY woman to be prez before they die. They'll vote for Obama in November because he has lead an honest campaign, is a good dem, and because November is 6 months away.
