1. open, semi-open
Indiana - All can vote in the Dem primary if they choose
NC - Dems, unaffiliated voters can vote in the Dem primary

I voted today in NC. I'm registered unaffliated so they just ask which party you want to vote for in the primary.
Thought it was funny to see Gravel's name still on the ballot.
