The ignored results of the Republican Pennsylvania primary...interesting!
Ignored by the media, there was a Republican primary in Pennsylvania on April 22, 2008.
The results should be of interest to our side. Here they are:

John McCain-574,182-73%
Ron Paul-125,828-16%
Mike Huckabee-89,961-11%
Total-789,971-100%

Nearly 800,000 PA Republicans went to the polls last week and 27% voted against their Party's presumptive nominee.
While the media hammers on the "division" that allegedly exists in our Party, they ignore the fact that nearly 1 in 3 Republicans in PA said "no thanks" to John McCain.

What do you make of this?

1. We will win if Hillary isn't the nominee.
IMHO

2. It means the republicans have
a nader-like Ron Paul problem that they probably arent addressing. Keep it up Ron Paul!

Hell I'll give him some money if he makes it on the ticket...he hasnt conceded yet has he?

How so?
I know a lot of rethugs don't like McCain, but I don't see how McCain is moved aside.

4. I thought it was pretty funny! Kind of like when the dead guy won a congressional seat over a live R

It's pretty telling that a third of the voters turned out SPECIFICALLY to vote against their presumptive nominee- seems to me like the R's are putting McSame on notice.

5. If the Republicans ignore these results, they do so at their peril
Obama will be happy to pick up the frustrated Republican voters in November

6. I'll be recommending this thread . . .
Because I don't think Ron Paul has gone away. It also tells me Huckabee is probably McCain's leading Veep Pick. Which means it's time to throw the Johnny Come Lately White Male Blue Collar REAGAN/Bush I/Dole/Bush II 'Democrats' under the bus.

Those guys will go McCain in a Heartbeat with Huckabee. And the Conservative Libertarian Wing will go Paul.

These results open up so many scenarios.
Will Paul run third party and, if so, who does he take votes from?
Huckabee could solidfy McCain in the Bible Belt, but would McCain do it? (Personally, I'm hoping for Schmoe Lieberman)
It also brings to light the outrageous media behavior in this primary season.
Our Party is running 51-49 and gets constant, mostly harmful, coverage.
Meanwhile 27% of Reps go out of their way to specifically vote against McCain and not one word from the fouth estate.
