Basically they just said the same stuff they've been saying already. As I pointed out elsewhere, it's time consuming to either set up outside broadcast or get someone into a studio - at a minimum they have be made up, lights adjusted, microphones etc., so expecting them to give a detailed critique and so on was a bit much. News production is by nature a rather frantic last-minute sort of activity where you don't have the luxury of planning everything out days ahead of time.
