. . .may explode. LOL

It was a deep speech, so deep that that the media bigots might have a meltdown trying to figure it out. I do think there are some potentially bad sound bites but any legitimate journalist who tries to play the sound bite game after Moyers on Friday and the NAACP speech tonight will lose credibility.

2. Well, you know they are spending a lot of time right now going over that speech...
to find a way to spin some 4 second clip from that speech to loop over and over to bolster their idiotic views. I know of no legitimate journalist in the mass media and certainly none who could give a shit about their "credibility". The talking heads on television consider themselves credible when they bring in viewers.

5. Music theory, educational pedagogy, eurocentric vs. afrocentric, different not deficient...
Edited on Sun Apr-27-08 10:52 PM by Tatiana
No, they will not get it. They will zero in on the only thing their small brains (neither left nor right) can understand... "O'REILLY!!!!" He dissed the Irish, OH NOEZ!!!!

The problem Faux has is that the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright ain't just a loud, angry black man.

He is a scholar, a theologian, a philosopher - a brilliant, distinguished Marine and individual who also served this country honorably in the Navy.

Oops, MSM. You just got owned.

7. I hope Rick "I Love Hillary" Sanchez on CNN has his head explode too
Edited on Sun Apr-27-08 11:00 PM by DJ13
He's been shameless the last two hours trying to pick the silliest things apart in Wrights speech just to hope something sticks onto Obama.

He makes me sick.

9. I thought he did a very good job of presenting it actually
Naturally he has to ask as a journalist whether there could be negative perceptions, but his characterizations were fair and neutral. I was fine with it.

10. You must have watched a different part of the program than I did
He was running (more than once) the most inflammatory 45 second sound bite to Obama supporter Dick Durbin and Clinton supporter Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and cut off Durbin before he finished responding with his pro-Obama take on it.

11. I know the bit you're talking about. It's not inflammatory to me
and I didn't feel it was presented as such by Rick Sanchez. We're probably just looking at it from different points of view. Admittedly I had been watching Lou dobbs earlier, who makes Rick Sanchez look like Edward Murrow.

21. I back you up on that - I think to me Rick was really pretty pro-Wright after the speech.
It was the Super Delegates that hadn't heard the speech that seemed to dumb down the show! At least CNN played the entire speech twice! I loved the introduction as much as the speech. I wish I could have taped it!

12. There is a whole world that transcends national borders
where Jeremiah Wright is respected and revered and that doesn't care in the least about DU.

15. They wont try to figure it out. That's the problem. They will take things out of context and make
shit up like they always do. The truth does not matter to these people. What matters to them is how they can spin this to create turmoil, hatred, and divisiveness.
