Is Wright saying anything that Cornel West hasn't been saying...
...for some years now?

Or that Jesse Jackson hasn't been saying for some years now?

I don't have time to do a comparison of bodies of work, but I hope that the people who are new to Dr. Wright don't think that liberation theology and other arguments of Wright's originated with him!

He's obviously today's cup of tea with some Democrats. What do they have to say about Cornel West?

1. So, are you saying that more than one black man can't think
about a set of problems or, what are you saying?

10. no, it's absurd on its face
And it's simply a way of accusing someone of being racist when they are asking an honest question or making a comment.

6. you've got a point there
No.

And I've read several of his books and watch him whenever I can find him on the telly.

I honestly was asking the question. I don't have time right now to educate myself about their comparative bodies of work. I was just hoping that the people new to Wright don't think other people didn't go before him on some of these issues.

7. pretty similar to me
I agree with much but not 100% of what they say; they're smart; they're talented and entertaining speakers. I've avoided much of the Wright mania but from what I've heard it's not some brand new secret thing the media has uncovered. But that doesn't make as good a story for the media I guess

20. Do you mean Barbara Feinman, the ghostwriter?
I've read that she finally complained because she was given no credit at all for writing that book.

Hypocrites, no kidding.

21. Ah, my, yes, and her name would sell lots of books, eh?
Remember please that all proceeds from that book go to charity. I'm sure she can use that book on any resume for book publishers that she likes.

The purpose to make money for charity means a hell of a lot more books will be sold with Hillary's name.

I'm not sure what happened here, but Hillary got a grammy for this book. Are you saying that they gave it to someone who shouldn't have received it?

Don't all of you think that you should stop trying to tear down the good things that everyone attributes to her. It makes you look very small.

22. Probably not, but Cornel West's oratory is extremely annoying to me
It seems that he just wants to see how long a sentence he can speak without catching his breath. Wright was mesmerizing.
