Hey Chris Matthews what the FUCK did Wright say in the last 72 hours to make you call for Obama ...
. . .end his relationship with him?

Just now on MORNING JOE Matthews said that Barack needs to get together with Michelle and decide to break ties with Rev. Wright. He also called Wright jealous of Obama.

EXCUSE THE FUCK OUT OF ME! Lets humor all of the bigots out there and pretend that the previous clips are as bad as they say, Obama has addressed those clips and moved on. In the last week Wright has emerged but what the hell has he said that is offensive?

What the fuck has happened in the last 72 hour to make it worse, why the hell is Matthews calling for him to distance himself further from Wright?

He is no longer Obama's pastor.

Obama criticized the clips.

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED IN THE LAST WEEK TO MAKE IT SO THAT OBAMA MUST FURTHER DISTANCE HIMSELF?

1. The VRWMSM just wants to keep the story alive
they don't care if the talking points they got from Rove this morning make any sense or not.

3. He got his talking points, period. I wonder if Tweety even watched
Wright's speech last night, because if he had, he wouldn't be saying what he did.

The MSM is scared shitless by this man's intelligence and what he has to say.

10. But obviously, it's ok for the "morons like Mathews" to slime Hillary with
half-truths and opinions presented as fact? Chris Matthews is just like all the rest of the pundits who were told to slime Hillary, get rid of her, and never fear that Obama would get elected. What has changed is that Obama became than a black candidate...he became a movement. Now the RW and their media minions don't know what to do to stop the movement. But they will figure it out soon, trust me. Black voters and some politically unwashed youth bought the RW ploy hook, line, and sinker. Now what are they going to do?

5. jealous of Obama?!
What the fuck?! Is this high school?
I can't imagine what it would be like to do drugs with Chris Matthews, he says such crazy shit all of the time while (apparently) sober. The "chinese bus"?

7. MSNBC has turned FACIST this AM. Axelrod just call in and censored them.
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 08:04 AM by ShortnFiery
Shame on MSNBC. I can't believe two RACISTS are pundits on that station. Tell me that Joe Scarobourh and Pat Bucannan are NOW of the "white supremacy" mode. The only BLACK they put on was a Pro-HRC pastor who "was concerned" that Rev. Wright's words may hurt Obama. Yeah, he's real concerned. :eyes:

I hate MSNBC this morning. The only show I'm going to tune into in the future is Keith Olbermann. My blood pressure can't handle any more than that. :nuke:

p.s. at least CNN has commentators that are Black and Latino whereas MSNBC is all lily WHITE. :grr:

MIKA's behavior (MSNBC) is truly SHAMEFUL this morning. :(

MSNBC = no diversity in Primary Commentators. They don't have A CLUE.

11. Well they had Jonathan Capehart on too, but no one told him he is Black. . .
. . . I knew a few folks like him in college. They didn't hang out with the other Black kids but when they were denied membership in white frats or sororities they wanted us to have their backs.

9. White guy response
What we are seeing here is a very clear illustration of the differences in white and black culture in America.

When a white guy's friend makes trouble or makes things too unconfortable they kick them to the curb. You are on your own.

In black America there is always the refuge of friends. A large social net to fall into.

Maybe too much of one each for the other's taste? Perhaps.

But then I could just be generalizing, a bit.

13. IMO, you make a valid point. MSNBC has no Primary commentators of color in the AM.
whereas CNN does have both an AA and a latino covering the Rev. Wright's speeches.

MSNBC is totally "out of touch" and isn't even trying to understand the AA Community context. Why? Because save for the HRC supporting black pastor guest, they are ALL WHITE PEOPLE.

CNN is entertaining a much fuller discussion.

15. It is ALL about outrage, ratings and filling airtime.
Newspapers have to fill pages. Cable news has to fill airtime.

Jack Cafferty is often making this point on CNN, much to Wolf Blitzer's annoyance.

Obama doesn't need to break ties with Wright. Thinking people need to break ties with m$nbc, making an exception for Countdown, of course.

18. To answer the question, nothing. Same old politics
from a bygone era. Baseless in substance and trying to strike a cord in the base instincts and fear of whites who can't move into the 21st century and generate the bilge of bigots.

22. I think Mathews just wants Obama to win and Wright to go away. The
thing is, the damage has already been done. He's disavowed Wright's comments.
He can not quit him - he's already gone from his church. This is all
very unfortunate - but there's not a hell of a lot he can do about it.

I sense a tiny bit of "poor Obama" out there - This, IMHO, is good. He
might actually get some sympathy out this.

24. With the exception of the Moyers interview I bet most of these were on his schedule. . .
. . .prior to the controversy. An organization like the NAACP does not schedule its KEYNOTE speaker a month out. Given the make-up of the audience at the National Press Club (primarily African American) I tend to believe that this speech was also booked in advance.
