Hey Mika, Willie, and Tucker: BITE ME!
I watched all of Rev. Wright's speech to the NAACP last night, and this 48 year old white guy was very impressed. But, this morning I was flipping through channels and saw Mika, Willie, and Tucker on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program talking about the speech, and playing clips from it.

What pissed me off more than anything they said was Tucker Carlson criticizing those in the Obama camp who have complained that the "Wright Controversy" was manufactured by the MSM. He didn't realize that they were doing exactly that this morning.

Not one time did they play a clip, or mention the fact that the theme of that speech was "different does not mean deficient; just different." I predicted without fail exactly where they started and where they stopped the clips of the speech they played back, and also the cuts in the middle of sentences they edited out.

They criticized Wright for his illustration of how the Kennedys speak, and never once played the whole clip that accompanied the explanation.

My bet is that Ted Kennedy wasn't offended by what Wright said. He knows that it's the truth, and that the point being made was a valid one. Mika played the clip where Wright used LBJ's speech, but never once mentioned the fact that Wright had assisted in LBJ's surgery, and that Wright praised Johnson for his support of the Civil Rights Act.

Mika, Willie, and Tucker---you all need to go home, take a hot shower, and wipe the slime off yourselves for yet another hit-job on Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama. You people aren't journalists. You are pigs wallowing in mud of your own making.

In the meantime, Mika, Willie, and Tucker: BITE ME! You can plant your rosy red Republican lips on my rosy red Democratic ass!!

1. I felt the same way too.
My son, who is normally very astute was made confused by the way they showed the clips and discussed it. He was saying "Why is it always about race? Is that appropriate?" Then I had to point out to him that his speech was very relevant and appropriate because he was addressing the NAACP!

Did you hear this morning's speech and question/answer period? I fear the media will still find ways to twist and edit him poorly.

Good. He's had his panties in a wad for quite some time.

Tucker? I consider the source. :eyes:

4. No, I'd bet money that they FORCED "Joey the Scar" to take the day off.
Why? Having Joe Scarborough CHAT in his soft, sweet HACK-like old boy "Southern Strategy" would have been way too much of "a tell" into his dark racist heart.

6. They're just bitter that CNN played it 3 times, and sucked all the viewership last night
And that even Fox got in on the action. What was MSNBC playing - another Lock-up Prison Show? (They really need to dump those).

10. Write the station
I stopped watching that program long ago, but I'd suggest writing the program with your thoughts (well, a little more courteous than 'bite me', though they deserve it :) ), and cc the management...
