2. two polls have Obama up narrowly, one has Hill up narrowly and SUSA will be out later today

with no change (they say) since early April with Hillary up by 9: 52-43.

3. RCP has it within the margin of error - so tied

although Clinton led there until quite recently.

She was actually led by 16 points not too long agol

My phonebanking this morning went very well for Obama. All live voices I got were supporting Obama, and his campaign there stresses the early voting, and offers rides if they need them. One nice old lady was thrilled to learn about early voting so she didn't have to wait in line on the 6th as was heading out when I was done speaking with her.

FWIW - there is also a great Woman to Woman postcard campaign, where we write out postcards and they get mailed to women in Indiana. I think the campaign is hitting all the right notes there, so it should be close. I predict within 2 points either way.

Also, NC had 100,000 early votes already.

(on edit: I predicted PA would be Clinton +9 all along!)

The latest SUSA Indiana poll:

8 days until votes are counted, Hillary Clinton finishes ahead of Barack Obama, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WHAS-TV in Louisville and WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. The results are identical to a SurveyUSA TV poll released 4 weeks ago, on 04/01/08. Clinton led then 52% to 43%, leads now 52% to 43%.
Crosstabs. Clinton leads among whites 56-39 (87% of the vote), Obama among African Americans 78-16 (10% of the vote). On election day, Obama will win A-As by 90-10. The issue is, as it has been for a while, will Obama lose whites by 20 points or more.
