New SUSA Indiana poll released...Clinton +9
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 11:30 AM by Secret_Society
Indiana polling has been very volatile. In my opinion I would say that this outcome is pretty likely but I'm sure there's still a slew more polling to come and really only one the matters.

6. No, actually no change from their previous poll, so according to this poll
both candidates are where they were at the beginning of this month.

7. Nah, she was up by more in the last SUSA poll
Last SUSA poll had her up 55-39. So this poll shows Obama gaining a little bit of ground, not Hillary pulling away. Still, it's a little worrisome for Obama supporters.

16. okay, that's interesting becuz SUSA is saying this poll is showing no change since
'their last poll'???? I wonder why they are ignoring that other poll showing Hillary up by 55-39 taken 4/11-4/13?????

19. actually, what SUSA says is that the result is identical to a poll taken four weeks ago
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 11:49 AM by onenote
not that its the same as the last poll they took (which was 2 weeks ago):

No Clear Trend in Indiana -- Clinton Ends April Just As She Started: In a Democratic Primary in Indiana today, 04/28/08, 8 days until votes are counted, Hillary Clinton finishes ahead of Barack Obama, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WHAS-TV in Louisville and WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. The results are identical to a SurveyUSA TV poll released 4 weeks ago, on 04/01/08. Clinton led then 52% to 43%, leads now 52% to 43%. Other polls show the contest closer; some polls show Obama ahead. SurveyUSA tracking graphs show movement toward Clinton in the middle of April but offsetting movement to Obama at the end of April. This back-and-forth can be seen clearly on the interactive tracking graphs for males, for Democrats, for pro-choice voters, and for residents of greater Indianapolis. Clinton's advantage is steady among women, steady among voters age 50+, and steady in Southern Indiana, which borders Kentucky. Obama is gaining ground among voters under 50, where he leads for the first time; among liberals, where he leads for the first time; in Northern Indiana, where he is tied for the first time; and in Central Indiana, where he has cut Clinton's lead in half. Clinton, by contrast, is making steady inroads among Independent voters.

17. Here's the three they've done there. Two weeks ago Clinton was +16
SurveyUSA 04/25 - 04/27 628 LV 52 43 Clinton +9.0
SurveyUSA 04/11 - 04/13 571 LV 55 39 Clinton +16.0
SurveyUSA 03/29 - 03/31 530 LV 52 43 Clinton +9.0

I'm beginning to loathe polls, myself. There hasn't been one that's been right on the money in any of the contest.
