MSNBC just said on air that Wright is slowly sinking Obama's campaign
Also, just noticed that Obama's lead is down to 10 in NC per ARG and he trails by 9 in IN.

Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 11:48 AM by jefferson_dem
as compared to the previous polls.

Edited to clarify.

17. NO. Hillary is only one point closer to him in NC than she was in ARG's previous poll.
She ONLY trails by ten and not eleven points.

ARG always had it closer.

they flipped when she won PA - they trash Obama all the time, especially Tweety. He went from loving Obama to loving his hometown girl, even though she grew up in IL.

that's so bad. Did you expect the man to stay in a bunker until after November while his church gets death threats? He had to come out, Obama knew that. I trust them both to help America through their fears.

22. Actually I kind of did
Like someone joked, but they were right, he should have stayed in East Paraguay until Nov 5th. And if he wanted to defend himself, he could have done it in a less incendiary way. Saying to the national press club "if you do terrorism, you have to expect to get terrorism back" doesn't help his cause and it certainly does not help the democratic front runner's cause.

39. I agree...
I mean, sure, I could understand him maybe giving one interview to clear the air (like he did on 60 minutes), but does he really have to do a friggin' speaking TOUR? And what's worse is that the media is eating it all up, it's like they're feeding into each other..:eyes: Nevermind that this has nothing to do with the actual ISSUES..

I defended Wright at first, but now, I wish he'd just go away. Like Bill Maher said on Friday: "What a dick.."

is happy he got his revenge on Obama. It is so clear what Wright is up to. And the media is looking for any excuse to abandon Obama right now. Are we sure Wright isn't on Karl Rove's paycheck?

30. I hope Wright is not capitalizing off of this at Obama's expense...

There needs to be a 527 group formed to counter the religious-right and its influence over the government and media. Every time the media focuses on Wright, they need to come up with a new commercial blasting the religious right and what it's influence has done to damage the nation. They could even mention Hillary's participation in the DC-based meetings.

Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 11:46 AM by enid602
That's too bad, because Wright's thoughts and ideas are not Obama's. I'm just impressed that Wright said what he said to the media the last few days, and the media actually aired his words. First time the media has ever given a controversial leader airtime to essentially argue against Bushco.

And I don't like Obama it's true - I think he's just an awful mistake that's likely ruined the Dems perhaps for a generation.

But this is just sad to watch - and there is much more to come. The right-wing will use Wright to motivate the evangelicals - Gonna get very, very ugly.

29. Wait... What Did Rev. Wright Say THIS TIme...?
I mean, it couldn't have been anything as controversial as "God damn America," or it would have been breaking news yesterday.

Are we sure this isn't the M$M lashing out because the reverend called them on their spin? What did Rev. Wright say that was so bad? And here's an even better question: what the hell does it have to do with Barack Obama? Wright's not even his pastor anymore...
