Now I don't know about how any of you spent your weekend, but I watched part of the NFL draft, saw my Yanks win 1-0 yesterday over the Tribe with a gem pitched by Chien Ming Wang, prepared my garden for planting in May, read the papers, followed the news on the internet, caught a few Sunday morning talking head shows and generally relaxed, even tossed a few back at Vinny's Boom Boom Room on Saturday afternoon.
I come here and I feel like I must have been on a mission to Mars and missed some major news breakthrough regarding this reverend whose name I won't even post for fear of busting the DU Reverend-O-Meter and apparently all there was was a couple of appearances by him on some cable news outlets.
I didn't read a single thing about him over the weekend, didn't see a single thing on TV (and I was watching some cable news to boot), didn't hear a single person mention him in any political discussions at Vinny's (where there was lots of political talk).
So have I had my head in a hole like an ostrich or are a whole lot of people on DU so totally freaking obsessed with this crap that you think it is all people are talking about? Shit, outside of DU and probably a few other places where people are politically obsessed, do you really think anyone still wants to talk about this shit?

2. Prepared your garden for planting in May? |

Pffft! Damn yankees.
We southerners have had our tomatoes in the ground for a month now. We'll be eating tomato sandwiches while your seeds are still germinating.

The tomatoes don't go into the ground until the week before Memorial Day at the earliest. We still get frost well into May on occasion in northern New Jersey.
Yeah, we have to wait until August for any harvest but you just can't beat a Jersey tomato when it's done - yummy - now you have me hungry.
