NC Governor endorsing Clinton
http://wral.com/news/state/story/2805702/ - Very surprising. He's normally stayed far, far away from national Democratic politics. Easley's popularity is mixed in the state, declining in recent months. Still, it certainly won't hurt Clinton. Not sure why Easley chose to do so this late in the game with Obama winning in NC.

2. Like I said
it certainly won't hurt. She didn't have any high profile endorsements in the state. Easley does not, however, have a major political machine behind him.

3. Two questions
1. Will this help Hillary a little, a lot, or not at all?
2. Does the timing have anything to do with the recent Wright stuff? (perhaps you've heard of the Wright stuff? not much about here on DU)

Okay, looks like I have three question in there. :)

5. Easley's been getting bad press for a year now. The two CANDIDATES for gov endorsed Obama

because, just like other downticket Dems in tough races they don't want HRC on the top of the ticket.

Another important factor is that Easley really isn't a 'machine' type politician like an Ed Rendell is in Penn.
