There's simply too much negative controversy surrounding Obama for him to get elected now, and on top of it all, polls show Hillary beating McCain by a considerably wide margin while Obama only ties McCain. At this point I'm afraid it will be impossible for Obama to win back those bitter, white, working-class folks whose votes he so sorely needs to win. It was certainly an impressive run, but it's over.

I noticed that the paper did not ask any hard questions, or at least they did not report them. Hopefully, I also won't have to defend a corrupt candidate in the general. Just for fun, though, why was Obama's land purchase not done in his own name? Do you know of any other home investors who do that? What do you think, after thoughtful analysis?

And once more, I know I'll be attacked for this, but I hold Hillary to the same standard. I admit I don't much like either of them on a personal level, but either would make a fine president, particularly compared to our chimp in chief.

Here in northern Minnesota, in an iron mining community where nearly every white middle class family owns a motor boat, a snowmobile, and a few guns, and many people are members of the steel workers union, Obama won the local caucus by 50 people to 20. State wide polls in Minnesota show Obama leading both Hillary and McCain by huge margins. Of course, we don't have very many racists here in Minnesota, and our women are have the self confidence that they can break through glass ceilings on their own, thank you, without giving Billary a third term in the Oval Office.
