27. He is not losing Ohio; he is tied with McCain there. Hillary performs better, But given that Obama
is being attacked 24/7. I think he is doing just fine.

9. Really? I sort of recall that being not close, but I guess I was wrong...
...maybe 2000? I know Iowa went Satan-R in 2004, but I assumed Wisconsin was like ILL in that it was reliable.

13. Our 'big city' (Milwaukee) is only 2 million
Edited on Mon Apr-28-08 07:31 PM by undeterred
and Madison is only 200,000. Chicago is 3.5 million plus suburbs that add up to a lot more than Milwaukee. Wisconsin is very lucky to have a Dem governor (Doyle) and two Dem Senators (Feingold and Kohl) considering how evenly split we are. But the GOP in WI has run a lot of right wingers lately so they haven't helped themselves. They don't get the voters in the middle of the road.

18. Since you asked...
Wisconsin has more dairy cows per square mile (23) than any other state.

Wisconsin is home to more than 1.2 million dairy cows – that's as many cows as there are school children!

14. Yeah, saw that above...only thing to do is redraw the state lines and give
the farms to Illinois...that state is definitely blue and a few more people ain't gonna change that!
