Let's all remember that the Clintons invited Rev. Wright to the White House.
He was among the clergy gathered to hear sex-scandal-plagued Bill Clinton repent of his sin. Hillary was at that gathering. So, the Clintons used Wright and others to publicly atone for the Lewinsky affair.

So, while everyone's passing out the guilt by association to Obama ....

3. My point exactly.
Really ... last I heard, Rev. Wright wasn't running for anything. Right-wing radio hosts today kept slipping and talking about people voting for him for president (talking about Wright, and forgetting to say they were talking about Obama! -- made it sound like Wright really IS running!)

2. The guy met him at a breakfast gathering of religious leaders from around the nation
and you equate that with Obama's relationship with his Pastor?

Valiant effort, and if it works my hats off to you.

And his explanation was "I did not have sexual relations with that woman".

6. Wright was dry humping his pulpit in Church during his sermon endorsing Obama.
While he was pretend humping for the kids, he was saying that the Clintons rode dirty on the black community just like Bill Clinton rode dirty on Monica.

If Wright had an ounce of integrity, he would not have accepted that invitation to the White House, along with 100 other preachers -- but he is looking for any opportunity to feather his own nest.

The chickens have come home to roost.

9. A picture vs. 20 years of being spiritual mentor, being wed by Wright, baptism, etc.
Big difference.

13. What is the big deal? Repubs hang around with and seek out the endorsements of
strange and out-there ministers all the time and no one blinks. Falwell? Robertson?

"AIDS is not just God's punishment for homosexuals; it is God's punishment for the society that tolerates homosexuals"

“Billy Graham is the chief servant of Satan in America”

“The idea that religion and politics don't mix was invented by the Devil to keep Christians from running their own country”

Textbooks are Soviet propaganda”

The whole (global warming) thing is created to destroy America's free enterprise system and our economic stability”

“Homosexuality is Satan's diabolical attack upon the family that will not only have a corrupting influence upon our next generation, but it will also bring down the wrath of God upon America.”

“God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve”

“(re: 9/11 attacks) "...throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools, the abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked and when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad...I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who try to secularize America...I point the thing in their face and say you helped this happen."”

All of the above are from Jerry Falwell. How many of our Republican leaders invited him to dinner, asked for his support and took his advise and used it?

“Feminism is a socialist, anti-family, political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.”

Many of those people involved in Adolf Hitler were Satanists, many were homosexuals - the two things seem to go together”

“...There is no such thing as ... separation of state and church ... in the Constitution. It's a lie of the left.”

“(Regarding his prayers to keep Hurricane Gloria away from Virginia Beach) It was 'extremely important because I felt that if I couldn't move a hurricane, I could hardly move a nation”

If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it.”

Above quote from Pat Robertson

And, I won't even go into McCain's ministers.

12. I went to Disneyworld in Orlando!
And I saw, met and got hugged by Mickey Mouse...but it was only one day and not a lifetime of getting to know Mickey. I am sure those who worked at the park could have told me about Mickey.
