Obama should have used the Bill Cosby approach from the beginning
and he would be in a much better place with all voting blocks now.

2. Not sure wht the Bill Cosby approach is, but he was awfully good in
I SPY.

What a good program that was -- one of the good things television brought to us.

Nothing like it nowadays.

6. So every black voter could vote against him?
As I recall, the "Bill Cosby approach" was only popular with some white people.

11. Actually, some black people agree with Cosby.
Mostly older or higher income people, but still. I don't agree with his approach but if you watch his speeches, he gets a lot of applause from mostly black audiences.

19. Like you said; well-heeled black people.
The majority of black people and more than a few white people were very disappointed by Cosby's statements. It made him sound like he was a racist against his own race.

8. This is funny
Do you know that Bill Cosby believes, as Rev. Wright, that AIDS was created by man and was targeted to the black communities?

9. Nothing is wrong with his approach.
He has run a positive issue oriented campaign. He didn't create the smear job being run against him, so he can't be blamed for it unless you really twist logic. Who are you to say anyway?

13. Or maybe the Nipsy Russell approach
And do all of his speechs in rhyme.

Before it's over we may need the Richard Pryor approach of telling the truth no matter how much it hurts. Paul Mooney is still alive and should be hired as a speech writer immediately.

But seriously folks, (insert rimshot here) I prefer the Obama approach. Quiet dignity.

15. Cosby wasn't in Pluto Nash
That was Eddie Murphy's crapfest. But to be fair Eddie did do a good Cosby impersonation once upon a time.

Cosby's awful movies include Leaonard Part 6 and Ghost Dad either of which I wouldn;t wacth again for all the money in the world.
